Flood and draught warnings at the same time

Flood warnings could be introduced in parts of Britain with experts saying this is one of the wettest Aprils in years. This is despite the fact that we are going through one of the worst draughts for probably an entire generation. Predictions show that floods and storms could be possible in a month that is already on the verge of breaking rainfall records. The met office has warned that one month’s rain could fall in the next 72 hours with torrential downpours and severe gales. Despite all this Britain is still on a draught warning.
