All orders are payable in full before delivery. You must confirm that the credit cards, debit cards or any other is being used is yours in order to purchase on our website or over the phone or by any other way. All card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we shall cancel our contract with you.

Accepting orders and security

“When you receive your e-mail confirmation, you will have an opportunity to check the details and correct any errors”.

In deciding whether to accept your order we may use the information you have given to us, or we already hold about you, or which we receive from any enquiry we may make with various agencies, to confirm your identity. This assists us to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions.  If we decline your order on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method. If we are not able to supply the products and payment has already made by the buyer, then following agreement between the seller and buyer, the seller will refund all amounts back to buyer's account as soon as possible, in any event within 28 days of the order. We will not to be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered or any loss

Delivery

Except where specifically stated, prices are inclusive of delivery to mainland UK only. We welcome enquiries from elsewhere, however, and ask that in these cases you contact us by e-mail, letter or telephone for onward shipping costs to other locations.

Our deliveries in the UK mainland are contracted to outside carriers who deliver Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays) between the hours of 8-00am and 6-00pm. A premium Saturday a.m. (9-00am to noon) delivery is available on selected items; if you require this service, it must be specified at the time of ordering. Evening and Sunday deliveries are not available.

We offer free delivery on all our beds and mattresses within 5 to 10 working days; we work with well known courier companies to make sure your products are safe. Please note:

Delivery could be delayed due to holiday periods or unforeseen circumstances, such as, but not limited to lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, war, national emergency, flood, epidemic, explosion, strikes, acts of God, fire, labour disputes, vehicle breakdown, government action, trade disputes, suppliers or any other happenings. In any case, we let you know in good time but we are not responsible for any direct, indirect or any loss, costs, damages, charges and expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of your ordered goods.

We will inform you by e-mail, text or telephone at least 48 hours prior to despatch of the expected delivery date. We regret that we are unable to specify exact delivery times on the expected date. All deliveries must be signed for and you should keep your receipt. If goods are showing obvious signs of damage upon delivery please refuse to accept the delivery.

If you fail to give us adequate delivery address or fail to inform us that there are errors in the order acknowledgement or order confirmation relating to your delivery address detail and the anticipated delivery day is not convenient for you. In this case, we reserve our right to and will generally seek to recover the cost of return trip and you may arrange re delivery for your ordered products again but a fee applies.

Please Note

All items require a signature upon delivery, so please ensure that there is somebody available at the delivery address to receive and sign for your order. If no one is available to receive the order the goods will be taken to and held at a delivery depot; you may then collect in person or request a redelivery. Please also note we cannot leave goods unattended outside your property (i.e. porch, garage or backyard etc.)

Cancellations and Returns

We are pleased to offer a no-quibble cancellation policy, which is in addition to your statutory rights.

Should your purchase disappoint in any way, you may normally cancel your purchase provided you notify us before, or within 7 days after delivery. Written notice must be given to Directfurniture247 by letter or via e-mail giving details of the products ordered; notification by phone will not be sufficient. Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition. It should be returned with the original box, packaging and accessories. Once we receive returned goods, we will refund or replace within 28 days.

Your goods may be collected from the delivery address but a collection fee applies. If there are replacements for cancelations and returns, we reserve our right to and will generally seek to recover the cost of returns, which would be deducted from the refund amount or any upgrade. The charges are listed by per item:  £40.00 per item.

If you are making your own arrangements to return the goods to us, responsibility lies with yourself until the products are received by us, and only then will we issue a refund or replacement. 

Please note: All returns are subject to approval and unless faulty, damaged or not as ordered a 10% admin will be charged or if you decide to cancel your order after placing it

Transit Damage

All goods are examined in detail by us prior to despatch to ensure that they leave our warehouse in perfect condition. However, transit damage unfortunately can occur. If your purchase is showing obvious signs of transit damage upon delivery, please refuse to accept delivery and notify us immediately. If damage is only evident upon opening of packaging, then you must inform us within 48 hours of receipt. In either case, we will then arrange re-delivery of replacement goods as soon as possible.

Faulty Goods

Goods are fully guaranteed against faults in manufacture, materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from delivery. No warranty is made in respect of commercial rather than domestic use. If your goods develop a fault within 7 days of delivery, the goods may be returned for either refund, or replacement. Replacement only is offered after 28 days and before 12 months. These promises do not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. We are unable to accept items that are soiled or un-hygienic. Therefore, please use a mattress cover or protector from day one.

Legal

Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.

These terms and conditions only cover the Direct Furniture 247 web site. Any other web sites to which you link from this site may be governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under our control. Any specifications or advertising issued by the seller and any descriptions or illustrations contained within our website will not from part of this contract. Such information is way of guidance only and may not bear any relationship with any products. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.

Risk and Title

Risk of damage to the products shall pass to you upon delivery of the products, however property in the products shall not pass to you until seller has received clear funds in full for the products and all other sums, which are due from buyer and products should be stored in the original packing and buyer may not use or resell the products before ownership has passed. The seller shall be entitled to recover funds for the products that ownership of any of the products has not passed from seller. In this case the seller entitled at any time to require you to deliver products to directfurniture247 and if you fail to do so immediately to enter your building or any third party where the products are stored and repossess the products.
